In 2023, Vanhauwaert built a complete flax processing plant for Depestele, featuring two processing lines for long fibers, one line for short fibers, seed and soil cleaning facilities, and an integrated filtration system. The factory covers 13,000 m² and each line processes approximately 2,000 hectares of flax annually. The project was carried out in accordance with French safety standards. A third processing line is planned for late 2025.
