In 2023, Vanhauwaert installed a seed recovery system at Jean Decock’s facility designed to extract the maximum amount of flaxseed from the shives. At the same time, the Cimbria seed cleaner was upgraded to increase production capacity. Both upgrades were seamlessly integrated into the existing system, with minimal production downtime.
